Grandma Saves the Day
Over the winter Grandma gave us an Xbox Kinect. Its purpose was to keep the kids busy in the hours when it is too cold or too hard to go out. After Andy left yesterday and my heart was sinking in my chest, we had quiet time, then Sesame St and then….then what? Fighting kids, tired Mommy. I had an idea! XBOX! So I asked Brynn if she would like to do her dancing. And dance she did. For over an hour. I laughed, clapped and cheered while Brynn mastered her dancing skills and her brother stood beside her and did his best to interfere and get in her way. She cared not at all. And we all had a wonderful time. Were it not for Grandma we would not have had that absolutely wonderful evening of dancing and laughing on a very hard day. Thanks Grandma. Always there. We love you.
